One of the city’s biggest events is coming up this weekend - the 16th Annual Hometown Holidays! Take part in the all-day event on December 10th that includes drinks, holiday fun, and entertainment. Get your complimentary picture with Santa from 10-3, then browse all the vendor booths and carnival rides. Live entertainment includes band performances, singing, and dancing, or stop by the new petting zoo and tie-dye station for a one-of-a-kind souvenir. Stop to get a drink and bite to eat at the Courthouse, then enjoy the Hometown Holidays Parade Extravaganza from 4:30-5:30.
Breakfast with Santa and Friends
If you’d rather have a sit-down meal, join Santa and his friends on the morning of the 10th for a pancake breakfast hosted by Redwood City Parks & Recreation. Pre-registration is required, with early seating already full, so get ahead of the crowd and reserve your seat for crafts, breakfast, and fun with Santa at the Community Activities Building. Kids 2 and under eat free! Register now for the 11am slot on December 10th to participate.
Arts and Crafts
There’s no shortage of Holiday craft fairs taking place around the Redwood City area. Stock up on last-minute gifts or decorations for next year at ART on the Square’s Holiday Show, taking place this year at the San Mateo County History Museum. Enjoy holiday music, food, and drinks at the Holiday Craft Show in Fremont, or head over to Randall Museum’s 2022 Holiday Crafts Day. Enjoy everything from ceramics to the fine arts at the wide array of craft fairs and art events around the city.
