Q50 Features and Specs

As in years past, the INFINITI Q50 comes in three different trim options. Although all are luxury, each is a slight step up from the next with upgraded features and additional add-ons. With each level of trim comes a different price point, starting between $43,675 and $57,525. The slight rise in price is worth it, though, since all trim levels now come with the Premium Care Program. The maintenance package includes oil changes, coolant top-off, and tire rotation - all at no additional cost.

All come with luxury features like heated steering wheel, various driver assist technology, and more legroom than most comparable sedans. The dual-screen infotainment system is enabled with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless streaming and entertainment to accompany the Bose sound system, while the Wi-Fi Hotspot allows up to seven devices to pair.

Q50 Luxe

Although not much has changed, the 2023 Q50 Luxe has a few attractive new options. The base Luxe trim is now available with the option for a saddle brown interior, which was once only available in the Sensory trim.  Enjoy the Q50 Luxe's 18" premium alloy wheels on your smooth drive.

Q50 Sensory

A step up from the Luxe, the Sensory trim has 19" wheels and a newly-added Radiant Grille Emblem, previously only available on the Red Sport 400.

Q50 Red Sport 400

The Q50's most expensive trim level boasts a significant power increase in both engine size and torque. High-end suspension and a brake upgrade make the driving experience feel more powerful and luxurious to accompany the higher price.

Here’s the biggest difference between these two models. The Q50 has four doors and a low roofline compared to an SUV or crossover, which would make it fit the traditional definition of a sedan. However, the Q60 is a little different with an even lower roofline and just two doors making it a coupe.

Is there a size difference between the Q50 and Q60?

You might expect the Q60 to be shorter, and it is, but perhaps not by as much as you’d think. It loses about 5 inches in overall length but still maintains the same wheelbase as the Q50. It’s actually a full inch wider than the Q50 too and has a roofline nearly 3 inches shorter in height.

When it comes to the interior, the Q60 still has room for 4 passengers—one less than the Q50—with a total passenger volume of 85.4 cubic feet which is 15.6 less than the Q50. In terms of legroom, shoulder room, headroom, etc. the Q50 is going to win out by small margins. Additionally, while the Q50 offers 13.4 cubic feet of trunk room, the Q60 only offers 8.7 cubic feet. All things to keep in mind while you are considering your options.

Performance Specs of the INFINITI Q50 and Q60

Regardless of which model you choose, and even regardless of trim level, both the Q50 and Q60 enjoy the same engine. A 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 powerplant that is capable of outputting up to 400 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. Either way, you’ll have a performance ride, but the coupe design of the Q60 lends itself more to the sportscar lifestyle.

Both of these cars come with rear-wheel drive standard, but also offer all-wheel drive options. One upgrade that the Q60 does receive is an active suspension on the top RED trim level which isn’t available on the Q50.
